i'm wondering why capital letters exist. is it just vanity that "i" is always capitalized? why is "i" more important than "you"? names are capitalized, people's titles get capitalized, places get capitalized... what's the point for it all other than just vanity?

imagine a world without capital letters, it's easy if you can. there would be no more shouting on the internet, no more nouns that are more proper than others, no more words that are bigger than others...

some may say that i'm a dreamer, but i'm not the only one.
